El cónsul de Chile en Zulia, Fernando Berendique, ofreció este martes declaraciones a la prensa. El representante diplomático calificó como gente irresponsable a los causantes de la muerte de su hija el pasado viernes y dijo que se trataba de gente sin ningún criterio y preparación. “Gente que no se quién les dio el arma realmente, porque actuaron como animales”, dijo.
Berendique dio las gracias a los periodistas por la ayuda que le han prestado y que le podrían seguir dando ante “ciertos movimientos por allí, tratando de justificar lo injustificable”.

Declaró que para el gobierno es una gran oportunidad de limpiar los cuerpos de seguridad, de sanear, y de llegar a la verdad. Reiteró que la inseguridad es alarmante cuando se ve los periódicos, sobre todo los fines de semana, por la cantidad de muertes.
El cónsul dijo que si quiere atacarse a la delincuencia, es necesario instruir, enseñar y capacitar a los cuerpos policiales.
